| Padres send Nick Vincent to Triple-A |

(3/24/13) The Padres optioned relief pitcher Nick Vincent to Triple-A Tucson Sunday, reports MLB.com. Vincent has been sidelined by a sore right forearm and could be a candidate for extended spring training. He was projected to be a member of the bullpen to open the season, but that won't happen now.

(3/19/13) Padres reliever Nick Vincent, who is dealing with forearm soreness, saw a hand specialist Monday and has been cleared to start throwing Wednesday, according to MLB.com. Vincent has not appeared in a game since Feb. 28.
"It's good, we should be good to go starting tomorrow," Vincent said.

(3/19/13) Padres relief pitcher Nick Vincent was cleared to resume throwing after dealing with soreness in his right wrist last week, U-T San Diego reports. Vincent, who was not appeared in a spring game since Feb. 28, could still begin the regular season on the disabled list.

(3/16/13) Padres relief pitcher Nick Vincent is scheduled to visit a specialist in San Diego early next week to have his ailing right wrist examined, MLB.com reports. An MRI exam on Friday ruled out any structural damage for Vincent, who has been sidelined since the start of spring training with the issue.
After spending four years in the minors, the 26-year-old made his major-league debut last year, posting a 2-0 record and 1.71 ERA in 27 relief appearances for the Padres.
