(5/11/13) With Chris Heisey on the disabled list, Reds outfielder Donald Lutz has taken advantage of recent playing time. Lutz entered Saturday's contest against the Brewers on a five-game hitting streak after he singled, stole second and scored a run in Friday's win over Milwaukee.
"He's aggressive," manager Dusty Baker told MLB.com. "He runs a whole lot better than it appears he should run for the size of his body. He's going to be a good one. It's just a matter of him going to play."
Lutz is hitting .313 with two RBI over 16 at-bats but is expected to be sent back down to Double-A Pensacola once Heisey returns.
