(8/5/14) The Nationals recalled catcher Sandy Leon from Triple-A Syracuse Tuesday, after Wilson Ramos was placed on the paternity leave list.
Leon appeared in 18 games earlier in the season with Ramos on the disabled list. He hit .169/.234/.237 in 59 at-bats, and is likely to spend just a few days with the team this time around.

Leon filled in while Wilson Ramos was on the disabled list. Leon hit .169 over 59 at-bats in the majors.

(6/11/14) Nationals catcher Sandy Leon will rejoin the major-league team after Wilson Ramos was placed on the disabled list, MLB.com reports.
Leon spent some time with the Nationals earlier this season, hitting .182/.265/.273 with one home run and three RBI in 44 at-bats. He has hit .294/.390/.392 with six RBI in 51 at-bats with Triple-A Syracuse.
