| Slumping Marcell Ozuna finally gets a break |
by Michael Hurcomb | CBSSports.com (6/16/13) Marlins rookie outfielder Marcell Ozuna was held out of the starting lineup Sunday against the Cardinals for the first time since his promotion April 30. Ozuna received a day off as he's mired in a 1-for-20 slump in his last five games.
"Ozuna is in a little bit of rough patch, probably the first rough patch he has had in the big leagues," manager Mike Redmond said, per MLB.com. "But he's going to be fine. He's still confident. He believes in himself. We believe in him. He's just got to go out there and continue to stick with his approach."

| Marcell Ozuna to move to center field |
by Michael Hurcomb | CBSSports.com (6/9/13) Marlins manager Mike Redmond said outfielder Marcell Ozuna is expected to move to center field when right fielder Giancarlo Stanton (hamstring) comes off the disabled list. Stanton could be back in the lineup Monday.

| Marcell Ozuna continues to hit for average |
by Michael Hurcomb | CBSSports.com (6/9/13) Marlins outfielder Marcell Ozuna collected three hits Saturday against the Mets, producing multiple hits for the third time in five games. Ozuna has hit safely in 21 of his last 24 games, batting .337 (32 for 95).
He also has two triples, seven doubles, 11 RBI and 12 runs in his last 24 games. However, hasn't homered since hitting his first career home run May 4. Ozuna's home run drought has reached 30 games.

| Marcell Ozuna will get some action at CF |
by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com (6/4/13) In anticipation of Giancarlo Stanton nearing a return, Marlins manager Mike Redmond told reporters that Marcell Ozuna will start seeing some action at center field.
Stanton will start his rehab assignment Tuesday and could return as early as next week. Ozuna has played all 32 of his games at right field with Stanton out. The 22-year-old is hitting .352 (25 for 71) with 11 RBI in his last 19 games.
"We're going to start working on ... possibly moving Ozuna into center a lit bit, taking some fly balls in center and left for when Stanton gets here," Redmond told The Miami Herald. "We want to have some flexibility there."

| Marcell Ozuna producing in unexpected ways |
by Joe Polito | CBSSports.com (6/3/13) Marlins outfielder Marcell Ozuna entered the majors with a track record that suggested a powerful but inconsistent hitter. So far he’s proven to be just the opposite.
His .333 average with 15 RBI and one home run has analysts scratching their heads trying to peg Ozuna’s hitter identity. Nando Di Fino offered his theory on Monday’s Fantasy Baseball Today that Miami’s “cavernous” stadium has Ozuna’s power developing slowly. Scott White added that he initially saw Ozuna as a Dayan Viciedo, but so far he’s been more of a Michael Brantley.
