(5/19/13) The Blue Jays claimed reliever Thad Weber off waivers from San Diego Sunday, MLB.com reports. He has been assigned to Triple-A Buffalo.
Weber appeared in three games earlier in the season, before being sent to Triple-A Tucson. He had a 4.15 ERA in 13 major-league innings over parts of two seasons.

(5/17/13) In order to clear room on the 40-man roster for Tim Stauffer, the Padres designated pitcher Thad Weber for assignment Friday.
Weber appeared in three games earlier in the season, before being sent down to Triple-A Tucson. He has a 4.15 ERA in 13 major-league innings over parts of two seasons.

(4/24/13) The Padres selected the contract of Robbie Erlin from Triple-A Tucson Wednesday and optioned Thad Weber.
To make room on the 40-man roster, Logan Forsythe was transferred to the 60-day disabled list.
Erlin went 2-0 with a 4.73 ERA in three starts for Tucson.

(4/20/13) The Padres have recalled right-hander Thad Weber from Triple-A Tucson Saturday after placing starter Tyson Ross on the 15-day disabled list.
Weber is 2-0 with a 0.82 ERA at Triple-A. He gave up two runs in 3 2/3 innings in a brief stint with the Padres last week. The Padres have not announced their fifth starter, but MLB.com speculates that Weber may earn the start Tuesday against the Brewers at Petco Park.

(4/19/13) Padres right-hander Thad Weber, who was up briefly with the big-league team last week, surrendered five hits, a walk and struck out five over six shutout innings Thursday night for Triple-A Tucson.
Weber is 2-0 with a 0.82 ERA in the minors. He allowed two runs in 3 2/3 innings with the Padres last week.
