Pineiro had a rough 2011 season with the Angels, which was marred by shoulder problems. He went 7-7 with a 5.13 ERA. However, it's worth pointing out that Pineiro won 15 games in 2009 and had a 3.84 ERA in 2010, so the shoulder problems likely played a huge part in his struggles last season.
