Nationals send Jeff Kobernus, Erik Davis to minor league camp

|(3/14/15) The Nationals announced that the team has optioned infielder/outfielder Jeff Kobernus to their Triple-A affiliate, the Syracuse Chiefs.
Kobernus was hitting .154 in spring training with six strikeouts in 13 at bats.
RHP Erik Davis, still recovering from Tommy John surgery, remains on the Major League roster, but the team will have him continue his rehab in the minor league camp.

|(2/24/15) Nationals relief pitcher Erik Davis threw his first bullpen session Tuesday since undergoing Tommy John surgery before the 2014 season. Davis threw just 25 pitches, but it was a big step for the 28-year-old, who hopes to be back in the majors by September.
"It's great. It's a good feeling because it's been over a year since I've been on the mound," Davis said. "It's a major milestone for me, but I understand that the work is not done. I'm going to keep working hard on the field."
Nationals activate Erik Davis, Matt Purke from 60-day DL

|(10/31/14) The Nationals have activated Erik Davis and Matt Purke from the 60-day disabled list.
Davis underwent Tommy John surgery in April. Purke had the surgery in May. Both players will be eligible to return to the 60-day DL next season if they need more time to recover.

|(4/2/14) Nationals pitcher Erik Davis underwent Tommy John surgery Wednesday, the team announced.
Davis suffered an elbow injury during spring training and is already on the 60-day disabled list. He won't pitch again this season.
