|(5/14/15) Rangers pitcher Kyuji Fujikawa made his season-debut in Thursday's loss to the Royals. Fujikawa, who had been sidelined all season with a groin injury, was activated from the disabled list earlier in the day.
He pitched a perfect eighth inning on Thursday, though he admitted to not feeling at 100 percent.
"I'm just going to go out there and give it all every day, every inning," Fujikawa said, per MLB.com. "I didn't really feel at my best, but I'm going to give it my best."

|by Marty Gitlin | CBSSports.com|
|(5/14/15) The Rangers have reinstated right-hander Kyuji Fujikawa from the 15-day disabled list after his rehab assignment with Triple-A Round Rock.
Fellow righty Spencer Patton has been optioned to the same team to make room on the roster for Fujikawa.
The 34-year-old Fujikawa, who could make his Texas debut Thursday against Kansas City, performed well in relief during his assignment. He held opponents to a .194 batting average and gave up four runs in 9 1/3 innings. He did struggle with his control, walking nine.
Fujikawa signed a free agent contract with Texas in December after two years in the Cubs organization. Tommy John surgery sidelined him for 14 months.

|by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com|
|(5/13/15) The Rangers are expected to activate reliever Kyuji Fujikawa (groin) prior to Thursday's contest at home against Kansas City, reports the Dallas Morning News.
Fujikawa opened the season on the disabled list, and his 30-day rehab assignment will come to an end on Wednesday, though the Triple-A Round affiliate was rained out, giving general manager Jon Daniels the opportunity to reinstate the right-hander in time for Wednesday's clash against the Royals, giving Texas more depth in the bullpen.
