| J.B. Shuck makes Angels' opening day roster |

(3/31/13) Angels outfielder J.B. Shuck had his contract purchased from Triple-A Salt Lake Sunday as he made the team's opening day roster.
Shuck was taken on opening day over Kole Calhoun. The 26-year-old hit .358 this spring over 53 at-bats with 10 RBI and three stolen bases. He will be a backup outfielder for the Angels.
Shuck played in 37 games back in 2011 for the Astros and hit .272 over 81 at-bats. He did not get to the majors last year though he played well for Triple-A Oklahoma City.
