|by Ted Leshinski | Staff Writer|
|(4/24/15) With the call up of reliever Sergio Santos earlier on Friday, the Dodgers have sent pitcher Mike Bolsinger to Triple-A, reports the Orange County Register.
In his one appearance this season on Thursday, Bolsinger started and allowed one run on five hits in 5 2/3 innings for a no decision.
Dodgers could seek a No. 5 starter as Ryu remains without a timetable

|(4/24/15) The Dodgers could be in the market for a No. 5 starter, as South Korean hurler Hyun-Jin Ryu remains without a timetable for return in his recovery from a shoulder impingement, reports CBSSports.com Baseball Insider Jon Heyman.
Ryu was limited to two spring starts and has not pitched since March 17 due to the issue. The Dodgers have used swing man David Huff for a spot start on April 14 and Mike Bolsinger on Thursday to fill in that role.
Dodgers P Mike Bolsinger has strong game in no-decision

|(4/23/15) Dodgers pitcher Mike Bolsinger gave up just one earned run in 5 2/3 innings but picked up a no-decision in Thursday's 3-2 loss to the Giants.
Bolsinger allowed five hits and walked two but struck out five batters. He now holds a 1.59 ERA for the season. It was a strong outing for Bolsinger, who made his first start of the season. A year ago he went 1-6 with the Diamondbacks.
Bolsinger started with the Dodgers in need of a fifth starter.
Dodger SP Mike Bolsinger will start Thursday vs. Giants

|(4/22/15) With the Dodgers in need of a fifth starter for the second time this season, the team will turn to pitcher Mike Bolsinger for Thursday's game at San Francisco, according to the team's reporter.
In 2014, Bolsinger went 1-6 with a 5.50 ERA for the Diamondbacks, but he said there's something different about this promotion, MLB.com reports.
"It's not like the first time you got called up," Bolsinger said. "But in a way, it kind of was because you're playing for the Dodgers. There's only a few teams in Major League Baseball that you can really be blown away with, and Dodgers is one of those. It's an awesome feeling. Very honored."
Bolsinger last pitched Friday for the team's Triple-A team. While in Triple-A, Bolsinger went 2-0 over 11 scoreless innings. He said his offseason work on his slider has paid off in a big way.
"It was a pitch I didn't think was going to be as good as it was," Bolsinger said. "It's just been working out really well. Obviously, throwing that fastball inside to righties and lefties, it just opens up the other side of the plate so much. That's what the slider kind of complements, that inside pitch."
Dodgers' Joe Wieland likely candidate to fill in for Hyun-Jin Ryu
|by R.J. White | CBSSports.com|
|(3/23/15) Dodgers pitcher Joe Wieland is the leading candidate to replace Hyun-Jin Ryu (shoulder) in the starting rotation while Ryu remains sidelined, the Los Angeles Times reports.
Wieland has allowed one run in nine innings this spring while striking out nine. Other options include Mike Bolsinger and Carlos Frias, and the team could fill the rotation hole externally, as the Dodgers remain open to acquiring starting pitching depth for the back end of the rotation.
