(4/4/14) Padres outfield prospect Alex Dickerson will lose this season after undergoing ankle surgery, per the San Diego Union-Tribune.
Dickerson injured the ankle during spring training. The first diagnosis showed a severe sprain that was expected to keep him out only just two weeks.

(3/23/14) Padres first baseman Alex Dickerson took a sigh of relief Saturday after an MRI on his severely sprained left ankle showed no further damage, MLB.com reports.
"There's nothing torn," Dickerson said. "So we'll move on from there."
Dickerson will likely miss up to two weeks. He is expected to start his season at Triple-A El Paso once he's healthy.

(3/20/14) Padres first baseman Alex Dickerson's spring may be over, as he left the team's facility to have his ankle looked at in San Diego according to U-T San Diego. Dickerson injured his left ankle last weekend and has been diagnosed with a severe sprain, though his status moving forward is not yet known.

(3/17/14) Padres infielder Alex Dickerson has been diagnosed with a severe ankle sprain, MLB.com reports.
Dickerson injured his left ankle during a warmup drill over the weekend. The severity of the sprain will likely knock him out for the remainder of camp.
