Brewers option RP Corey Knebel, INF/OF Jason Rogers to Triple-A

|(7/3/15) The Brewers optioned reliever Corey Knebel and infielder/outfielder Jason Rogers to Triple-A Colorado Springs on Friday.
Knebel heads to the minors with a 2.95 ERA and 1.17 WHIP in 19 relief appearances for Milwaukee. He has 19 strikeouts and seven walks in 21 1/3 innings.
Rogers has appeared in 51 games for Milwaukee, batting .236 with one triple, three doubles, two home runs, seven RBI, 10 runs, five walks and 17 strikeouts.
Brewers option 2B Scooter Gennett to Triple-A

|(5/18/15) Slumping second baseman Scooter Gennett was shipped to Triple-A Colorado Springs by the Brewers on Monday, the team announced. He will be replaced on the roster by pitcher Corey Knebel .
Gennett has been struggling all season, hitting a paltry .154 in 65 at-bats this year, way down from the .289 average he posted last year. He's also dealt with a hand injury that landed him on the disabled list.
Knebel is 1-2 with a 4.70 ERA and six saves in 16 appearances with the Sky Sox this season. He appeared in eight games with the Tigers last season, posting no record and a 6.23 ERA.

|(3/17/15) Brewers pitcher Corey Knebel allowed one earned run while pitching one inning Tuesday, giving up a solo home run in his team's 6-4 win over the Padres.
Knebel got a late start to his spring while dealing with a sore elbow but was able to toss a scoreless inning in his debut Friday. He was rested over the next two days before coming back Monday and giving up the home run. The reliever was shut down last August after being diagnosed with a slight ligament tear in his elbow.

|(3/10/15) Brewers manager Ron Roenicke said that pitcher Corey Knebel threw an "impressive" bullpen session Monday, MLB.com reports.
Knebel has been dealing with a sore elbow, which comes on the heels of being shut down in August due to a slight ligament tear in the elbow. He's scheduled to throw one more bullpen session before seeing game action.
