Harvey was recovering from a fractured fibula when he suffered a strained flexor muscle in May. He was shut down for six weeks after getting a PRP injection on May 18.

|(5/18/15) Orioles pitcher Hunter Harvey received a PRP injection on Monday after visiting with Dr. James Andrews, according to MASN Sports. Harvey, who is dealing with a shoulder injury, will be shut down for at least six weeks to rest after he was diagnosed with a strained flexor mass.
Harvey is yet to throw this season while dealing with multiple injuries.

|(5/14/15) After undergoing an MRI on Wednesday, the Orioles are considering pitching prospect Hunter Harvey's injury as a strain of the flexor mass muscle. The team still believes he will not require surgery, the Baltimore Sun reports. Harvey will return to North Carolina this weekend before a scheduled appointment with Dr. James Andrews at some point next week for a second opinion.

|(5/13/15) Orioles manager Buck Showalter said Wednesday that pitcher Hunter Harvey will be out for an extended period of time after undergoing an MRI, the Baltimore Sun reports.
Showalter indicated that he doesn't think the pitching prospect will require surgery on his injured elbow, which will be rested for the time being. Harvey was recovering from a fractured fibula before contracting elbow stiffness during extended spring training.

Harvey was working his way back from a fracture in his fibula before dealing with the setback in extended spring training. He has yet to pitch in the minors this season.
