| Eric Hinske plays hero for D-Backs |

(4/7/13) Diamondbacks first baseman Eric Hinske provided a spark late as he uncorked his first home run of the season in Sunday's series finale against the Brewers.
Hinske, who made a pinch-hit appearance in the 11th inning, took closer John Axford deep for a two-run, go-ahead home run. He finished 1 for 1 with a run scored and two RBI in an 8-6 victory in extras.
The 35-year-old veteran is hitting .500/.600/1.250 in four at-bats.

(12/4/12) The Diamondbacks signed first baseman Eric Hinske to a one-year deal Tuesday, according to FOXSports.com. Hinske spent the last three seasons with the Braves, and in 2012, he hit .197 with two home runs and 13 RBI in 132 at-bats.

Cliff Lee pitched seven scoreless innings and Jimmy Rollins drove in a pair of runs as the Philadelphia Phillies beat Arizona 3-1 Saturday night, ending the Diamondbacks' five-game winning streak.
