Report: Yankees believe Luis Severino could make 2015 impact

|(1/3/15) The Yankees believe top pitching prospect Luis Severino could make an impact in the majors in 2015, FOXSports.com reports.
Considered the team's No. 1 prospect by Baseball America, Severino is "close to untouchable," according to the report. He played at three levels in 2014, topping out with Double-A Trenton, where he posted a 2.52 ERA and 29:6 K:BB ratio in 25 innings over six starts. He finished the 2014 season with a 2.46 ERA and 127 strikeouts in 113 1/3 innings.

|(7/15/14) Yankees pitching prospect Luis Severino will be promoted to Double-A, according to Baseball America.
Severino is expected to pitch with his new club Saturday. The 20-year-old signed with the club in 2012, and has enjoyed a breakout season. He's posted a 2.45 ERA in 88 1/3 innings over two minor-league levels. Severino also took part in the 2014 Futures Game.
