(11/21/13) The Marlins have reached out to free agent Juan Uribe to fill a corner-infield spot, MLB.com reports. Uribe is looking for a multi-year deal this offseason after hitting .278/.331/.438 with 12 home runs and 50 RBI in 388 at-bats.

(11/6/13) Dodgers third baseman Juan Uribe, starting pitcher Edinson Volquez, relief pitcher Brian Wilson, third baseman Michael Young, utility player Jerry Hairston, relief pitcher J.P. Howell, relief pitcher Carlos Marmol, starting pitcher Ricky Nolasco, infielder Nick Punto and utility player Skip Schumaker have filed for free agency.
They join second baseman Mark Ellis, who had his team option declined, and starting pitcher Chris Capuano, who had his mutual option declined.

(10/25/13) The finalists for the 2013 Rawlings Gold Glove awards were announced on Friday, with three players at each position. The awards honor the league's best defenders, and winners will be announced Oct. 29.

(10/8/13) Dodgers third baseman Juan Uribe was the hero Monday as his two-run homer in the eighth inning of the National League Division Series Game 4 against the Braves gave his team the lead and the series.
Uribe hit the game-winning homer off David Carpenter of the Braves with Craig Kimbrell waiting in the bullpen. After Yasiel Puig doubled, Uribe unloaded with two strikes for his second HR of the series. He went 2 for 4 in the game and hit .375 in the NLDS.
The 34-year-old, who is no stranger to the postseason, recorded at least one hit in each game in the series with homers in the last two and four RBI. He hit 12 HRs in the regular season with a .278 average and 50 runs batted in over 388 at-bats.

(10/7/13) Dodgers third baseman Juan Uribe hit his first home run of the NLDS in Sunday's Game 3 victory over Atlanta.
Uribe finished 2 for 5 with two runs scored and two RBI on the fourth inning two-run blast. Uribe is 4 for 12 with three runs scored on the series.
