| Phillies add three more to roster |
| (9/1/08) After the Phillies lost at Washington on Monday, they brought up three more players from Triple-A Lehigh Valley, recalling infielders Mike Cervenak and Andy Tracy and purchasing the contract of left-handed pitcher Les Walrond. All three have previously played with Philadelphia this season. To make room for Walrond on the 40-man roster, infielder Oscar Robles was designated for assignment. |

| (8/16/08) The Sports Xchange notes that Rudy Seanez rejoined the Phillies before Friday night's game in San Diego, and he will be activated from the disabled list Saturday. To open a roster spot for Seanez, LHP Les Walrond is expected to be reassigned to Lehigh Valley. |
