| Lincoln to begin throwing soon |
| (6/25/10) Reds RP Mike Lincoln, who has been on the disabled list since June 1 with a strained muscle in his right side, could begin a throwing program as early as Monday, reports MLB.com. "I'm hoping to be throwing, starting this next week," Lincoln said Friday. "I feel pretty good. I think it's a situation where we didn't want to start it up and re-aggravate something. I know how I am, and I have a tough time stopping once I get going." |

| (4/27/10) From The Sports Xchange notes: RHP Mike Lincoln was an instant fan whipping boy after giving up a two-run home run to Albert Pujols on opening day. Lincoln, 34, has been very good since, however. He has allowed only one run in his last 7 1/3 innings. |
| Lincoln seems to be regaining form |
| (4/21/10) According to The Sports Xchange Reds RP Mike Lincoln, who had cervical disk replacement surgery last June, has pitched six innings and allowed only one run on one hit over his last four outings. He earned the win Tuesday by retiring the only batter he faced. "I'm still grinding through some stuff," Lincoln said. "That's the way it's going to be for now. Hopefully, it keeps getting better. The nerve that comes out of my neck that controls my right arm down to my fingers was slightly pinched, so I was losing feeling. That nerve controls a lot of muscles from the scapula to my arm. I'm trying to get it to position where it can fire all the muscles." |

Reds send Lincoln to DL, demote Fisher in 'pen shakeup
The Cincinnati Reds have made two bullpen moves, placing right-hander Mike Lincoln on the 15-day disabled list with a strained upper back and demoting right-hander Carlos Fisher to Triple-A Louisville.
