Preseason Outlook

It is hard to imagine Big Z is done being a Fantasy ace at age 28, but it sure looked that way last year, if not in 2008 as well. He had been far more prone to injury and his wild periods seem to be as pronounced as ever. With this said, he is just 28 and has plenty left in the tank, we say. Still consider him among the top 30 starting pitchers to target on Draft Day. He might not be a Cy Young contender, but the Cubs should be due for a rebound year and Big Z could be at the head of it atop their rotation. He might prove to be a middle-round steal for the first time in years. (Updated 1/11/10)
