O's to sign reliever Ayala: The Orioles signed RP Luis Ayala to a contract on Friday, according to the Baltimore Sun. Ayala will receive a major league deal worth $925,000, and there is a team option for the 2013 season. OF Matt Angle was designated for assignment to make room for Ayala on the 40-man roster.
