| Condrey officially done for season |
| (7/21/10) From The Sports Xchange notes: RHP Clay Condrey is done for the season, placed on the 60-day DL late Monday because of an injury to the flexor tendon in his right elbow. Rather than have surgery, he will undergo platelet rich plasma therapy starting next Tuesday. Condrey started the season with shoulder and elbow problems in spring training and never pitched in the majors after signing a one-year, $900,000 deal over the winter. "I've been designated four times in one season, and that up to this point was the worst (season I ever had)," he said. "But at least then I could still pitch, wherever I was." |

| (7/20/10) Twins RP Clay Condrey has elected to receive platelet rich plasma injections rather than undergo surgery to fix his strained right flexor muscle, reports MLB.com on Tuesday. If the PRP injections don't produce the desired result, surgery will be revisited. Condrey was placed on the 60-day DL on Monday. |

| (7/17/10) Twins RP Clay Condrey, on the 15-day disabled list due to a strained right elbow, is debating whether or not to undergo surgery what would end his season. The right-hander will meet with Twins physicians to decide sometime this week whether he'll have surgery or receive platelet rich plasma injections to fix the strain in his right flexor muscle. "I don't think that's a definite yet," manager Ron Gardenhire told MLB.com, "But when I talked to him just a little while ago, he told me he's probably going to have surgery and get his arm fixed." Condrey last pitched for Triple-A Rochester on July 5, allowing two runs off three hits in an inning of work. |

| (7/14/10) From The Sports Xchange notes: RHP Clay Condrey has had a setback and appears ready to be shut down again, casting further doubt on whether the offseason free-agent acquisition will ever pitch for the Twins. The right-hander last pitched July 5 for Triple-A Rochester (N.Y.) and gave up two runs on three hits in one inning. "He's sore, and the discomfort is rated at 6-7," manager Ron Gardenhire said. "So, I would say he's not going to throw." |
