Fantasy Analysis
Cuddyer started the season hot, hitting .299 with an .884 OPS in the month of April, however he has been terrible since the beginning of May. He has a .207 batting average with just two home runs in May, good for a .595 OPS. He is a better hitter than he has shown recently, however right now Fantasy owners might want to sit him in shallower leagues until he finds his groove again. (Updated 05/19/2012).

Giancarlo Stanton hit a grand slam off Jamie Moyer in a five-run fourth inning, Mark Buehrle was dominant after a shaky first and the Miami Marlins stayed hot by beating the Colorado Rockies 7-4 on Monday night.

05/17/2012 19:58 D-Backs win on Upton's blast in ninth
Justin Upton hit a two-out, two-run homer off closer Rafael Betancourt in the ninth inning to help the Arizona Diamondbacks beat the Colorado Rockies 9-7 on Thursday in a game that was briefly delayed by a swarm of bees.
A change in venue doesn't always make a difference in a player's production, but it should in the case of Michael Cuddyer. In signing a three-year deal with the Rockies this offseason, the former Twin will get the benefit of moving from one of the majors' worst home run parks to one of the best. Even with the limitation of playing home games at Target Field, Cuddyer enjoyed a resurgent 2011 season, batting .284 with 20 home runs. Those figures would have likely been better if not for injuries to his neck and wrist that limited his production and playing time down the stretch. Now, as Colorado's everyday right fielder, Cuddyer should be due for his best season since his 32-homer campaign in 2009. Owners in all mixed-league formats should look to target Cuddyer as a low-end Fantasy OF. (Updated 2/13/12)
