Fantasy Analysis
The White Sox brought in Hudson to play second base and third base. With Brent Morel on the disabled list, Hudson could play his way into regular at-bats at third base, but he will have to beat out Eduardo Escobar and Brent Lillibridge. Hudson is merely an AL-only Fantasy flier at this time. (Updated 05/22/2012).

05/13/2012 20:18 Hit Parade for Week 7
As interleague play gets under way there are many matchups to break down. Our Scott White tells you who the best bets and biggest risks are in his Hit Parade for Week 7.
In his prime, Orlando Hudson was never an elite option, but he was always a consistent producer. Now in his mid-30s, Hudson's contact skills have been undergoing a slow erosion and last season he produced his first sub-.250 batting average. The O-Dog also continued to be dogged by injuries, as he missed 43 games with a variety of maladies. He will enter the 2012 season once again as the Padres' starting second baseman, and with no major high-level prospects at the position to push him, Hudson ought to amass plenty of at-bats as long as he can stay healthy. Playing time alone makes him worth rostering in NL-only leagues, but even in many deeper mixed leagues, owners can probably find more promising options. (Updated 2/9/12)
