Gross suddenly decides to retire: OF Gabe Gross, who recently agreed to a deal with the Marlins, has instead decided to retire, according to the Enterprise Ledger. Fantasy Analysis
Gross was released by the Mariners at the end of spring training after refusing a minor-league rehab assignment, so he wasn't expected to make any sort of Fantasy impact this season anyway. Though a top prospect when he was drafted 15th overall in 2001, he was primarily a platoon player throughout his career, so he was never much of a contributor in Fantasy.
