Rangers sign Hawpe to minors deal: The Rangers signed 1B Brad Hawpe to a minor league deal on Friday, according to CBSSports.com Senior Baseball Writer Scott Miller. Hawpe also received an invite to the Rangers' major league spring training camp. He appeared in 62 games with the Padres last season, batting .231 with four home runs. (Updated 01/20/2012)
