| (4/5/09) Astros OF Reggie Abercrombie was sent to the minors on Saturday. "It wasn't a huge shock," Abercrombie said. "I just came in and had a good spring. | (3/4/09) Astros youngsters Reggie Abercrombie and Brian Bogusevic are making strong cases for spots in a crowded, veteran outfield. Abercrombie improved on his torrid start with a bunt single and run, and Bogusevic went 2-for-4 with an RBI against Team Venezuela on Wednesday. Abercrombie, who came in hitting .615, walked and stole a base, while Bogusevic also had a steal and scored a run. Both played the entire game. "They all continue to show you that they are very gifted and have a lot of skills," Cooper said. "Everybody seems to be doing their thing." |
