Preseason Outlook

Crosby, a bust with the Athletics after he won the AL Rookie of the Year in 2004, gets a second chance with the Pirates. The A's had clearly grown tired of him, using him as a utility player last year. You can't blame them considering he has hit under .230 three of the last four years. But hey, maybe the change of scenery will help him rediscover his power stroke at age 29. He's worth a flier in NL-only leagues for the remote possibility he makes an impact, but keep in mind he still has to beat out Ronny Cedeno for the job. (Updated 1/31/10)
