| Josh Wilson sees first start since 2011 |

(4/10/13) Diamondbacks infielder Josh Wilson made his first start in the majors since Aug. 24, 2011 on Wednesday against the Pirates. He received the start at second base with Aaron Hill out due to a hand injury.
Wilson saw just one at-bat through the first seven games but told MLB.com that he is always ready to play.
"It's just a mindset," Wilson said. "Your physical abilities and skills are going to play if you allow them to play. Being ready to play is just wanting the opportunity to come."

(3/30/13) The Diamondbacks announced Friday that infielder Josh Wilson will break camp with the team as a utility infielder.
Wilson batted just .256 in spring action, but his ability to play five different positions is an attractive quality for a Diamondbacks team that is opening the season with a number of injuries. Wilson has been out of the league since 2011, when he hit .224 in 85 at-bats with Arizona and Seattle.

Carlos Gonzalez homered and drove in two runs, Jorge De La Rosa pitched effectively into the sixth inning and the Colorado Rockies beat the Diamondbacks 4-1 on Wednesday to take two of three in the series.
