Lopez wins long battle, knocks walk-off single to carry Mariners
Jose Lopez hit an RBI single to right field on the 14th pitch from Russ Springer with two outs in the ninth inning, and the Seattle Mariners rallied from five runs down to beat the Oakland Athletics 8-7 on Friday night.
