| RP Shiell designated by Royals |
| (9/4/07) The Kansas City Royals called up four players from Triple-A Omaha on Tuesday. To make room on the 40-man roster, the team designated right-hander Jason Shiell for assignment and transferred outfielder Reggie Sanders to the 60-day disabled list. The Royals recalled right-hander Luke Hochevar and first baseman Justin Huber, and purchased the contracts of catcher Paul Phillips and first baseman Craig Brazell. |

| (8/31/07) The Kansas City Royals purchased the contract of right-handed pitcher Jason Shiell from Double-A Wichita before Friday's afternoon game at Minnesota. Right-hander Leo Nunez was optioned to Wichita to make room, the day before teams are allowed to expand their rosters to 40 players. |
