| Lugo struck by liner in minors |
| (4/27/10) From The Sports Xchange notes: Julio Lugo got a scare over the weekend when news reached him that his brother, Ruddy, a pitcher with Triple-A Toledo was struck in the right temple with a line drive. Ruddy Lugo spent the night in the hospital and ended up with a "big bump" on his head, Julio Lugo said. The Orioles' utility infielder, who entered as a defensive replacement in the bottom of the eighth Sunday, said he didn't sleep Saturday because of concern for his brother. |
