Rays' Rene Rivera to work with Chris Archer in minor-league game

|(9:41 am ET) Rays catcher Rene Rivera told reporters that his calf is fine, according to Tampa Bay Times. He added that Chris Archer requested he catch him in a minor-league game, so that the two can get used to working with each other. Riveral will catch against the Red Sox on Sunday.
Another solid start for Twins pitcher Kyle Gibson
|(3/25/15) Twins pitcher Kyle Gibson records another strong start Wednesday, holding the Rays to one run on two hits while striking out seven in six innings of work.|
Gibson's only blemish was a first-inning home run surrendered to Rays catcher Rene Rivera .
"I'll take the next two outings and keep trying to get sharp and just keep the consistency," Gibson said. "You're never exactly where you want to be at this game, so still working on things and still trying to iron things out."
Gibson has now started five games this spring, posting a 2.75 ERA in 19 2/3 innings with 17 strikeouts and seven walks.
Souza, Rivera return to Rays spring lineup Wednesday

|(3/25/15) Rays catcher Rene Rivera (calf) and outfielder Steven Souza (arm) returned to the spring lineup Wednesday against the Twins.
Rivera is batting .211 (4 for 19) with one home run and two RBI in seven games, while Souza is batting .133 (4 for 30) with two home runs and six RBI in 11 games.

Rivera will resume game action Wednesday after an off day on Tuesday. He has missed the last few days with the injury.

|(3/21/15) Rays catcher Rene Rivera is sidelined with left calf tightness, but he may be able to hit within the next couple of days.
Manager Kevin Cash said that he may use Rivera at designated hitter before Tuesday's off day, per Roger Mooney of TBO.com. Rivera won't catch again until after the calf is completely healed, however.
