Preseason Outlook

Parra avoids arbitration: The Brewers signed RP Manny Parra to a one-year deal on Thursday, according to MLB.com, avoiding arbitration. Parra missed all of the 2011 season, and he had season-ending surgery on his left elbow in August. (Updated 01/12/2012)

Elbow - Questionable for start of spring training (Updated - 10/25/11)

Fantasy Analysis
If Parra can return to form, he could have some appeal in deeper formats as a swingman, or at least as a reliever who can deliver strikeouts. However, until he can prove that he is fully recovered from his elbow surgery, he can go undrafted in the vast majority of Fantasy formats. (Updated 01/12/2012).
