| Manny Parra pitches at Double-A |

(5/13/13) Reds reliever Manny Parra, who is on the 15-day disabled list, began his rehab assignment with Double-A Pensacola on Monday. He worked a scoreless inning, giving up one hit while striking out two. The left-hander did not walk a batter while throwing 13 pitches, nine for strikes.
Parra has been sidelined since April 23 due to a strained pectoral muscle.

(5/13/13) Reds pitcher Manny Parra will begin a rehab assignment Monday.
Parra will join the Double-A Pensacola Blue Wahoos to begin his rehab. Parra has been sidelined since April 23 with a strained pectoral muscle. In 6 2/3 innings this season, he has an 8.10 ERA.

(4/26/13) The Reds placed reliever Manny Parra on the 15-day disabled list with a strained pectoral muscle, the team announced Friday. The move was made retro active to April 24.
Cincinnati activated reliever Sean Marshall off the 15-day DL to take Parra's spot on the 25-man roster.
Parra is 0-1 with a 8.10 ERA and has seven strikeouts and three walks over his six appearances.

(2/1/13) The Reds added relief pitcher Manny Parra to their bullpen Friday after he spent his first five major-league seasons with the Brewers. Parra made 62 relief appearances with Milwaukee last year and registered a 2-3 record and 5.06 ERA. It was also the first season he did not start a game.
