When the Braves acquired McLouth from the Pirates in early June, they thought they were getting a surefire 20-20 man with the ability to hit leadoff. Instead, they got a headache. McLouth couldn't stay healthy in Atlanta, missing time off and on with a hamstring injury. Even when in the lineup, he couldn't live up to his breakout 2008 season, settling in as the player who hit .257 with 13 home runs from June 1 of that year and not the one who hit .305 with 12 home runs in April and May. By now, you can pretty much write off his start to that season as a fluke -- a sustained hot streak that made his final numbers look better than they should. He's still a 20-20 threat with a good enough on-base percentage to score 90 runs, but his shaky batting average and propensity for injury makes him more like a No. 3 Fantasy outfielder than a No. 1.
