Preseason Outlook

McLouth 1 for 28 this spring: The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that Braves OF Nate McLouth is hitting only .036 this spring (1 for 28), but thinks he's coming around. “I’m getting there,” McLouth said Wednesday. “It’s frustrating not to get hits, regardless of whether it’s spring training. But I’d rather it happen now than in the season.”

Fantasy Analysis

McLouth was fitted for contacts this offseason, hoping that would help his hitting, but it hasn't worked so far. McLouth is a pretty much a must-own Fantasy OF in all formats because of his power and RBI potential, but this spring slump is a little concerning after his poor 2009 campaign.
