Fantasy Analysis
Weeks has certainly let down Fantasy owners in 2012. He has just three multi-hit games, with his last one coming April 17. He has really been hurting Fantasy owners with his high strikeout rate as well. While Weeks did have a two-run double Tuesday, he also struck out three times, running his season total to an NL-high 57 strikeouts. Fantasy owners might look to a more productive option until Weeks heats up. (Updated 05/23/2012).

05/13/2012 20:18 Hit Parade for Week 7
As interleague play gets under way there are many matchups to break down. Our Scott White tells you who the best bets and biggest risks are in his Hit Parade for Week 7.
Rickie Weeks looked well on his way to another solid campaign for the Brewers in 2011 before running into a roadblock. He hit .272 with 19 homers and 43 RBI through 104 games but an ankle injury sidelined him in late July and cost him all of August. He would return in September but batted just .243 down the stretch. He would finish with 20 homers and a .468 slugging percentage but his 49 RBI were well down from the 83 RBI he posted in 2010. He has substituted power for speed in recent seasons but it is hard to find a Fantasy second baseman that has slugged .472 like he has the last three seasons. He has shown in the past what he can do with a full season and should approach 30 homers in 2012 as long as he can stay healthy. With a potent lineup surrounding him in Milwaukee, Weeks should be in line for another productive campaign so consider him a high-end choice at second base on Draft Day, worthy of being taken in the early to middle rounds of mixed leagues.
