| Lehr reassigned to minors |
| (3/14/11) Reds pitcher Justin Lehr was reassigned to minor-league camp on Monday. Lehr did not make any appearances for the team this spring as he continues recover from Tommy John surgery. He is not expected to pitch until May. |
| Lehr invited despite health |
| (2/16/11) MLB.com reports Reds SP Justin Lehr was invited to camp as a non-roster player though he has no shot at winning a job at the moment and likely won't pitch until May as he continues to heal coming after Tommy John surgery last May. "After being at this for nine months, it was a big deal [to be invited]," Lehr said. "I was like, 'Yes!' I'll be way ahead as camp starts, but I will fall behind because I have to do everything more. Obviously, it's nice to be invited when you know you won't be competing for a job." Lehr is likely to pitch for Triple-A Louisville when he is healthy enough to play. |

| (5/29/10) According to MLB.com, Reds SP Justin Lehr visited the team's clubhouse on Saturday, fresh off Tommy John surgery. Lehr came to Cincinnati on Thursday and was examined by medical director Dr. Timothy Kremcheck. He underwent surgery the following day. "I was somewhat relieved," Lehr said. "I just got by last year. I kept making adjustments, and my arm just got worse. I had recurring pain. I never knew when the last bullet would be." Lehr was 1-3 with a 6.67 ERA for Triple-A Louisville before he went on the disabled list. |

| (5/27/10) The Cincinnati Enquirer reports that Reds SP Justin Lehr is going to need Tommy John surgery. Hes either going to have it now or some time this year, a Reds official said. |
