(5/20/13) The Mets signed pitcher David Aardsma to a minor league contract Monday and assigned him to Triple-A Las Vegas, MLB.com reports.
The 31-year-old began the year with Miami's Triple-A team in New Orleans, but was released Wednesday.

(4/13/13) The Marlins signed veteran relief pitcher David Aardsma to a minor-league contract Saturday, ESPN.com reports. Aardsma, who was released by the Yankees last week, has appeared in one major-league game since the end of the 2010 season.

Aardsma was designated for assignment by the team Friday. Aardsma signed with the team last season, and attempted to come back from Tommy John surgery. He pitched one inning with the team last season.

(3/29/13) The Yankees have designated reliever David Aardsma for assignment, YES Network reports.
Aardsma, 31, missed the 2011 season and all but one game of 2012 due to Tommy John surgeries. Aardsma posted a solid 3.52 ERA in 7.2 spring innings with seven strikeouts against two walks, but didn't do enough to earn a spot in the Yankees' bullpen.

Yankees relief pitcher David Aardsma completed a bullpen session Saturday without any issues associated with his groin and is expected to return to game action soon, The Star-Ledger reports. Aardsma has been limited to just two Grapefruit League games this spring.
