Preseason Outlook

Kazmir has never quite reached his once-limitless potential, partially due to injury and those wild spells, but he is just 26 this spring and should be ready to enter his prime and Fantasy elite-hood. That means 200-plus innings, 200-plus strikeouts and 15-plus victories, along with a useful ERA and WHIP. The trade to Anaheim is a great one for Kazmir, because he will get a full spring of tutelage from one of the best minds in the game in manager Mike Scioscia. We rank him among the top 30 starting pitchers to target on Draft Day, but that is based on his potential. You will find Kazmir going in a wide range of areas in different leagues.
