Preseason Outlook

The aftereffects of a concussion ruined Hill's 2008 season and seemingly sidetracked his career, but he came roaring back better than ever in 2009, more than doubling his career high with 36 home runs. Even more impressive, he did it evenly over the course of the season, never hitting fewer than five home runs in a month and never hitting more than seven. That level of consistency should help assure you his performance wasn't a fluke. As he entered his prime at age 27, his doubles power became home-run power, validating the first-round pick the Blue Jays used on him in 2003. He'll need to improve his walk rate before he can take another step forward, but he's clearly one of the best at a weak position -- his 36 homers leading the way, in fact -- and an early-round pick in Fantasy.
