Fantasy Analysis
Hill experienced a power outage last season, though he hit for average once arriving in Arizona. He shouldn't have a second straight season with little power, given that he is staying in hitter-friendly Chase Field. Look to draft Hill in the mid-to-late rounds of standard mixed league drafts next year. (Updated 11/13/2011).

The Indians were a huge surprise a year ago, remaining in contention in the AL Central until September. What can they offer Fantasy owners in 2012? Our Scott White takes a close look.
After serving as the Diamondbacks' second baseman for the last five weeks of the season, Arizona decided to bring Aaron Hill back to man the keystone position in 2012. Hill arrived in Phoenix through a swap of second basemen, as Kelly Johnson went from the Diamondbacks to the Blue Jays. In his short trial in Arizona, Hill reversed nearly two full years of bad batting averages by hitting .315. Hill boosted his average with 12 doubles in just 124 at-bats, and eight of those came in Chase and Coors Fields, the NL's two best doubles parks. The change of venue bodes well for Hill, and while he isn't likely to hit close to .300 over a full season, he is a strong candidate for a bounceback season. Putting disappointing 2010 and 2011 seasons behind him, Hill will be worth taking in the later rounds of standard mixed league drafts. (Updated 1/9/12)
