McGehee is slashing just .200/.254/.282 this season.

|(5/13/15) Giants third baseman Casey McGehee is back in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Astros. The slumping McGehee was out of the lineup on Tuesday, though manager Bruce Bochy insisted that McGehee was not being benched, and is still the team's starting third baseman.
He is back at the hot corner on Wednesday, hitting seventh in the batting order.
Bruce Bochy says Giants 3B Casey McGehee (.179 avg.) not benched
|by Ted Leshinski | Staff Writer|
|(5/12/15) Giants manager Bruce Bochy said that although he's starting Matt Duffy Tuesday at third base, Casey McGehee, the team's regular third baseman, has not been benched, reports MLB.com.|
Casey McGehee has started 23 of the Giants' 32 games this year at third, including all three of their weekend seris against the Marlins.
Duffy has served as a utility infielder for the Giants this season, starting games at all four infield positions this year.
In 84 at-bats, McGehee is hitting .179 with two homers, three doubles and seven RBI.
Giants' Angel Pagan, Buster Posey return, Casey McGehee out
|by Brandon Wise | CBSSports.com|
|(5/12/15) Giants center fielder Angel Pagan and catcher Buster Posey are back in the starting lineup on Tuesday against the Astros while third baseman Casey McGehee will head to the bench, the team announced.
Pagan and Posey got the day off on Sunday with Gregor Blanco starting in center and Adnrew Susac behind the plate. Pagan is hitting .322 with eight RBI in 121 at-bats this season. Posey is hitting .287 in 108 at-bats this year.
McGehee heads back to the bench after starting all three games in the weekend series against Miami. Matt Duffy will start at third and bat eighth.
The Giants are currently the underdogs (+145) against Houston.
|2014 Summary: Casey McGehee returned from a one-year hiatus in Japan a much different hitter than he had been before, and it helped him to achieve his highest Fantasy ranking since 2010. In that career year, McGehee had been a power hitter, blasting 23 home runs, but last season, McGehee was a singles hitter with a knack for going the other way on ground balls and line drives. All the way through mid-August, McGehee had been steady, maintaining a batting average right around .300, but a late-season slide caused him to finish with a .287 average. The Giants targeted McGehee as their replacement for free agent Pablo Sandoval, acquiring him in an offseason deal from the Marlins.|
Playing time status: McGehee's productive 2014 season earned him another shot at everyday play, though he could be hard-pressed to equal last season's 160 games.
2015 Outlook: Even though McGehee was hitting for average and driving in runs consistently for much of the season, he was still outside the top 12 third baseman in Rotisserie. McGehee's lack of power hurts him in virtually all formats, and his struggles in August and September raise some doubts about whether he can be as productive in 2015. He is only safe to draft in deeper mixed and NL-only leagues.
