(3:49 pm ET) Giants reliever Santiago Casilla will throw bullpen Thursday, CSN San Francisco reports Wednesday. It will be his first bullpen session since having a cyst removed from his knee. He is expected to return after the All-Star break.

(6/17/13) Giants manager Bruce Bochy revealed Monday that pitcher Santiago Casilla will likely throw off a mound within the next week, the Contra Costa Times reports.
Casilla, who has been out since May 20, had a cyst removed from his right knee in late May. He is 3-2 with a 1.89 ERA and 16 strikeouts in 19 innings.

(6/14/13) Giants reliever Santiago Casilla (knee), who was expected to be out until after the All-Star break, exceeded manager Bruce Bochy's expectations on Friday.
Casilla threw from flat ground for the first time since he had a cyst removed from his knee in May. Bochy told Comcast SportsNet Bay Area that Casilla could be activated from the disabled list in two to three weeks.

(5/29/13) Giants reliever Santiago Casilla underwent surgery to remove a cyst from his right tibia Tuesday.
Manager Bruce Bochy told MLB.com that he'll have a better idea of how much time the right-hander will miss when he meets with the medical staff. Casilla, who has not pitched since May 20, could return roughly at some point after the All-Star break.
