Masset gets two-year extension: The Reds signed RP Nick Masset to a two-year deal worth $5.5 million, according to CBSSports.com Baseball Insider Jon Heyman. Masset appeared in 75 games for the Reds last season and went 3-6 with a 3.71 ERA. (Updated 01/25/2012)

Fantasy Analysis
It was something of a down season for Masset in 2011, but he is still a highly effective middle reliever and set-up man. With Ryan Madson and Sean Marshall in the fold for Cincinnati, Masset won't get many save opportunities, but he will still be valuable in deep Fantasy leagues that use middle men.
