| Neil Walker did not have as productive of a campaign as he did in 2011 a year ago, but still finished as a top 20 second baseman in Fantasy. While he set a new career mark with 14 home runs, injuries limited him to 129 games and he finished with 69 RBI and 62 runs scored. A herniated disc in his back ended his season in September but the 27-year-old is expected to be ready for the start of spring training and could be in for his best season yet. Walker has compiled a .429 slugging percentage with a .341 on-base percentage over the last three years and based on his numbers in 2012, he should be able to pick up his power numbers this season. Walker will still be available in the middle rounds on Draft Day, but could make a difference at a thin position. (Updated 12/4/12) |
