Preseason Outlook

Although his ERA and WHIP rose last year, Baker took that important step to being a top Fantasy pitcher: reaching 200 innings. He won 15 games for the Twins and looks capable of being the team's ace, even if he isn't technically a knockout No. 1. His huge second half helps his ranking heading into this spring, too, as he went 8-2 with a 3.28 ERA and .235 batting-average against. We expect 15 victories with an improved ERA and WHIP this season, which make him a solid option after the top 30 Fantasy aces are off the board on Draft Day. (Updated 1/11/10)
