Hernandez got a chance to start for the Nationals early last year, but once he revealed himself as a slap hitter with a mediocre batting average, Washington didn't mind flipping him back to the Mets for a minor-leaguer. In New York, Hernandez is insurance for the aging Luis Castillo, but it's not like he's suddenly a better hitter. He's a desperation pick in NL-only leagues. (Updated 1/31/10)
