Johnson wouldn't have been such a Draft Day value a year ago if we could have been confident in his health. Coming off Tommy John elbow surgery, we just didn't know if he could handle a 30-plus start, 200-plus inning campaign. His 2009 final numbers leave little doubt about that now. Johnson looks like a potential Cy Young award winner, especially since his walks are in check and his strikeout rate is climbing steadily. He ranks as a top 15 Fantasy ace now and you will even have drafts where is he selected among the top 10. Rightly so. Johnson is a burgeoning ace with a lot to like now that he has proven healthy.
