Barton finishing year strong: From The Sports Xchange notes: Daric Barton got his first start of the season in the No. 2 spot in the order Sunday against Angels left hander Joe Saunders and went 1 for 4 with a double. Barton recorded a career-high four hits the night before and over the past 15 games he is 20 for 51 with 12 RBI and 15 runs.
