| Adam Lind back in cleanup spot |
by Chris Cwik | CBSSports.com (5/21/13) Blue Jays first baseman Adam Lind is back in the cleanup spot Tuesday.
Lind has been off to a strong start this season, hitting .279/.396/.465 in 86 at-bats this year. Lind went 0 for 2 in his first game in the leadoff spot Monday. He'll face Rays starter Alex Cobb.

| Blue Jays reward Adam Lind for strong play |
by Michael Hurcomb | CBSSports.com (5/20/13) Blue Jays DH Adam Lind moved into the cleanup spot Monday against the Rays for the first time this season. Lind is batting .382 (13 for 34) with three home runs, four doubles, five RBI and eight runs in his last 10 games (eight starts).
"He's definitely been one of our hotter hitters," manager John Gibbons said to MLB.com. "We've had him in the five spot when (J.P.) Arencibia's playing, and Arencibia's not playing today."

| Adam Lind takes a break |
by Jeff Lippman | CBSSports.com (5/19/13) The Blue Jays gave first baseman/designated hitter Adam Lind a day off Sunday in New York against CC Sabathia. Lind had started the previous three games and five of six as the No. 5 batter in the lineup for Toronto.
Lind went 2 for 4 with two doubles Saturday against the Yankees. He's gone 9 for 21 (.429) with two homers and four RBI over his last six games.

| Adam Lind getting it done vs. righties |
by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com (5/15/13) The Blue Jays continue to hide first baseman Adam Lind against left-handed pitchers, and their strategy is starting to pay dividends.
Lind hit his third home run of the season Wednesday against the Giants, and it was also his third in the last six games. Lind has a hit in seven of the last eight games, while raising his batting average from .220 to .286.
For Fantasy owners in daily leagues, it might be worth getting Lind active for games in which the Blue Jays are set to face a right-handed starter. Owners in all other deeper formats should consider starting him if the Blue Jays are facing a righty-heavy schedule during the course of a week.

| Adam Lind hits two-run blast |
by Jeff Lippman | CBSSports.com (5/15/13) Blue Jays first baseman Adam Lind went deep on Wednesday in an 11-3 win over the Giants. Lind took starter Ryan Vogelsong the distance for his third homer of the season in the first inning for a two-run shot.
Lind finished 2 for 4 with two RBI. He added a walk and is batting .286.
The 29-year-old Lind has hit in four straight games. He's gone 11 for 27 (.407) over his last eight games with three homers and five RBI.

| After averaging 28 homers and 91 RBI over the previous three seasons, Adam Lind had a fall from grace in Fantasy in 2012. He batted just .186 with a .314 slugging percentage in his first 34 games before being optioned to Triple-A in mid-May. The Blue Jays even took him off the 40-man roster at one point but Lind hit well enough in the minors to be recalled in late June. He regained his form back in the majors and hit .296 with eight home runs and 34 RBI over his final 59 games. There were some rumblings that Toronto might not bring back the 29-year-old in 2013, but after bolstering the lineup with some big acquisitions in the offseason it looks as though Lind will remain the starting first baseman north of the boarder. Coming off a strong second half, Lind should be able to get back on track this season and will have a ton of lineup protection. Consider him worthy of selecting in the late rounds on Draft Day.
