| (4/3/06) OF James Jurries, one of the most difficult roster cuts manager Bobby Cox had to make, says he knows why Cox would want to keep veteran OF Brian Jordan instead: "Brian Jordan's a great teammate. He's a great player. And I can see why he would want to keep him around. Unfortunately, I don't make those decisions, but I've played with him for the last four weeks and I've been really, really impressed." Jurries was demoted the day before the season. |
